Welcome to the Team Sam!

Meet Sam Vena, the newest member of the Back At It team! Sam is joining our Canmore Downtown clinic as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, graduating in March 2026 and she’s already been part of the Bow Valley community. Sam has been apart of the Bow Valley community for the past 13 years.

Sam was drawn to osteopathy after her own battle with low back pain; after trying many approaches, osteopathy was the first to bring lasting relief and now she’s passionate about helping others reclaim the parts of life chronic pain can steal. Sam we’re so excited to have you!

Style of Treatment

Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works to restore balance within the body. Each treatment is guided by how your body is presenting in that moment – no treatment is ever the same. The body has its own inherent self-healing and self-regulating mechanisms – the goal of osteopathy is to bring the body back into balance so those natural processes can function optimally. Rather than simply chasing symptoms, I look to address the root cause of dysfunction, supporting long-term relief and overall wellbeing.

My experience with Back At It has been nothing but positive! I’ve personally seen a few of the massage therapists there over time and have genuinely loved each experience. Back At It has built a strong reputation as a very respected clinic in the Bow Valley. The level of care, knowledge and client focus really stands out. What attracted me to join the team is that clear commitment to high standards and quality treatment.

What are you most excited to learn about or get started with when you begin working with us? 

I’m really looking forward to helping people and making a tangible difference in their daily lives. I’m excited to support my patients through their recovery, and contribute to a clinic environment that prioritizes quality care and lasting results.
