Maho Yuda
RMT, Cupping, Prenatal Massage, Shiatsu, Thai Traditional Massage
I grew up in Tokyo Japan where I attended the Kuretake College of Medical Arts & Science and graduated from the Oriental Medicine Program. I practiced massage therapy & acupuncture in Tokyo before moving to the Bow Valley. I joined NHPC as RMT when I moved to Canada. I have always loved alternative medicine and sharing the healing process with clients, impressed with how it helps to balance both body and mind. I have been also working in resort spa settings, allowing me to pamper guests with deep relaxation and well-being.
Style of Massage
My treatment can be combined with Swedish massage, acupressure point therapy, therapeutic cupping, joint mobilizations and Thai stretching technique.
What do you do when you aren’t massaging?
Fly fishing, paddling and camping with my family, Watching my daughter’s figure skating and walking with my dog.
What made you decide to become a massage therapist?
My therapist journey started in Thailand more than 20 years ago. I fell in love with Shiatsu and yoga stretching marriage.
