Andrea graduated from MH Vicars in Calgary with the 2200 hour Remedial Massage Therapy program. She is a member in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta (MTAA).
Andrea cares deeply for her clients and brings a nurturing, non-judgmental energy into her treatments. She strives to empower her clients through education and awareness, making them a valuable participant in their own healing journey. She takes a Holistic approach when creating a treatment plan for each client, considering all contributing factors to dysfunction and pain. She uses a multi-faceted approach to her massage treatments which include therapeutic & relaxation, deep tissue massage, Graston Technique and Dynamic Cupping.
Andrea uses Graston Technique to bring faster rehabilitation of range of motion, elimination of pain and restoration of normal function to the affected area. She also uses Dynamic Cupping which originated from China, to facilitate healing by relieving muscular tension and bringing more blood flow to the area which promotes cellular repair.
Originally from Switzerland she is happy to call the Bow Valley her home.

What do you do when you aren’t massaging?
When I am not massaging, I love spending time in nature hiking, X-country skiing and trail running in the Rocky Mountains. I also enjoy travelling and spending quality time with my daughter.
What made you decide to become a massage therapist?
I love to receive massage and I’ve personally experienced the positive benefits massage has on the body and the mind. This inspired me to go back to school and learn this wonderful healing modality so I could give back what I have received. After working 20 years as a Medical Practice Assistant in Switzerland, being a Massage Therapist comes very natural to me.
