Great Book

Just bought a sweet book that I think will make an excellent Xmas present. Its called Heading Outdoors Eventually Leads Within Thoughts Inspired by 30 000 miles on the Trail by Kathy and Craig Copeland. Its their new book, filled with amazing photos and inspirational thoughts “The wisdom we glean from the wilds is a match lit in the rain”. And its selling for a bargain price of $20.

Kathy and Craig live here in Canmore and have written many guidebooks that are a must have if your into hiking. You probably already own a few such as Don’t Waste Your Time in the Canadian Rockies, Camp Free in BC and Where the Locals Hike in the West Kootenay.

Quotes I like from this book include “Easy is Flavourless. Relaxation is Forgettable.” and “It’s a big job being curious.”

I highly recommend getting this book for yourself and others that are into the outdoors. Why? Because they are locals and talk about things you can relate to. Because the pictures are breathtaking. Because they are selling this book for a ridiculously low price. And because you can open up this book to any page and want to run outside and do something productive with you time.
