Don’t Be Afraid of Something You’ve Never Tried!

Acupuncture: If you’ve never tried it then you don’t know what your are missing. If you have your head wrapped around the fact that the needles are the same as what you have experienced at the doctors office, then you are wrong. Acupuncture needles are NOT the same as Hypodermic needles (the ones that draw blood or the ones that gave you the flu shot). Hypodermic needles have a hole in the centre for fluid to pass through . In contrast, Acupuncture needles are no thicker than a cat’s whisker and are solid so no fluid passes through.

No Blood

If blood is what you fear then know that 99% of the time there is no bleeding. Acupuncture needles are so thin that when they are removed, the skin closes up immediately.  That 1% of the time there is only a droplet of blood.
