Dr. Allison Moses
Dr. Allison Moses was born and raised in rural Nova Scotia. She attended Acadia University where she completed a Bachelor in Kinesiology with an honors thesis in exercise physiology. During this time Allison learned about the practice of Naturopathic Medicine and resonated with the principles of preventative medicine and health promotion. She went on to complete her Doctorate at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. There she developed the skills and knowledge to help patients navigate their personal health journeys through modalities such as nutritional counselling, herbal medicine, acupuncture, lifestyle counselling, physical medicine and supplementation. In a sea of information, Allison aims to simplify the path to your goals. Her belief is that health should not be complicated. Together you will develop daily practices that align with your long term goals, while being provided additional support in times of need. Most of your work with Allison will be sorting out what health looks like for you and removing obstacles so that you can show up for your daily life in a meaningful way Allison loves spending time outdoors. On weekends you can find her exploring her new backyard, hiking in the Rockies. She also loves to cook; her kitchen is a balance of nutritious home cooked meals, honing the craft of sourdough baking and finding the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. Allison is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor practicing in Alberta. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) as well as the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA).
