Craig Schade
RMT, Therapeutic Massage
Craig has been living and enjoying the mountains in Banff since 2008, calling this beautiful valley and town home. He completed his 2200 hour remedial massage therapy diploma through MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2021 and has been practicing in a variety of roles/styles since then. He found his passion in therapeutic/deep tissue massage, and gets a real fulfillment in aiding people in their road to recovery, as well as providing a relaxing and revitalizing escape from the regular wear and tear of life, and mountain fun.
What is your style of Massage?
Craig also values the ability to provide people with their own tools for musculoskeletal self help and growth, which is a large, if not the largest, part in one’s own recovery and maintenance.
What do you do when you aren’t massaging?
When Craig isn’t working he is enjoying the mountains in any way possible. His favourites are backcountry camping, rock climbing, and canoeing in the summer; in winter his favourites are backcountry skiing/ snowboarding and curling.
What made you decide to become a massage therapist:
He found his passion in therapeutic/deep tissue massage, and gets a real fulfillment in aiding people in their road to recovery, as well as providing a relaxing and revitalizing escape from the regular wear and tear of life and mountain fun.
