RMT therapeutic and relaxation massage, cupping and trigger point therapy
I graduated in 2017 at Mckay College in Saskatoon with a 2200 hour diploma. Right after graduation I moved to New Zealand for about 7 months. When I got back to Saskatoon I worked at a massage clinic for about 6 months but got the travel bug and headed off for another year plus around the world. I moved to the Bow Valley January of 2020 and have been massaging full time ever since.
The love and knowledge of sports and training has fuel my passion in helping others through massage. I regularly continue to educate myself in different modalities. I incorporate all of my trained techniques into my treatments, utilizing the desired technique to achieve the best results. I use a holistic approach to treatment, focusing on the ways in which posture, daily living, occupation, hobbies, and stress all factor into a client’s condition.
How would you describe your Style of Massage?
I would describe my style as a mixture of deep tissue and relaxation. I believe you should have both, help relieve muscle tension but also calm the nervous system down. I love incorporating specific trigger point work and dynamic cupping
What do you do when you aren’t massaging?
In the summer my main hobbies are trail running. climbing, hiking and camping. In the winter I snowboard. Year round I love game nights and reading.
What made you decide to become a massage therapist?
I was (still am) into health and fitness. When I was trying to figure out what to do for a career I knew I wanted to help others. My friend was a massage therapist and I started to realize it would be a perfect choice for me; I’m intrigued with how the body works and I get to help others so I enrolled into massage a week before the program started. One of the best choices.
