Style
Mary’s approach to massage therapy incorporates deep fascial release, myofascial cupping, passive and active stretching, trigger point therapy while encouraging deep therapeutic techniques often using her forearms and elbows along with the combined relaxation that’s necessary for the body to heal. She treats the body as a whole and strives for a meaningful mind-body connection for her clients and herself.
What do you do when you aren’t massaging?
Mary loves spending time with her family and friends and she supports her two daughters sports activities and various other interests. The rocky mountains have always been home for Mary with an appetite for mountain living you can find Mary taking care of her own mental health by getting at it in the mountains whether biking, hiking, skiing, or running – life in the mountains gives Mary the zest for life she desires and needs to give back to her clients daily.
Why Massage?
Mary came into massage later in life and as such brings with her a diverse background working with children, youth, and families supporting mental health education, prevention, and intervention. Working with a diverse population and encouraging all human beings to put their health and wellness first. Mary enjoys working with clients recovering from and coping with chronic and acute injury and illness, as well as adult and adolescent athletes, pre and post-natal, and clients seeking to maintain healthy bodies. She encourages those living with and experiencing life-long illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s or those dealing with anxiety, depression, or addictions to come in and support their bodies and minds with a therapeutic massage. EVERYONE is welcome and each person will experience their own individualized, supportive, compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic treatment.
