Meet Sam Vena: Our New Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Sam Vena joins our team as a certified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (M.OMSc) and a proud member of OSTCAN. With extensive training from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clinic. She graduated from a demanding, four-year program, accumulating 4200 hours of education along with 1000 hours of supervised, hands-on clinical experience. 

The Importance of the full 4 year schooling

Sam chose schooling with high standards and is a member of OSTCAN. All members have undergone thorough training, which includes 4200 hours of education and at least 1000 hours of practical experience. This dedication to quality education distinguishes skilled practitioners and ensures they are equipped to provide safe and effective treatments.

While some schools offer shorter programs of just one to two years, we prioritize hiring practitioners who have completed the full four year curriculum. At Back At It, we believe in patient-centered care—not rushing through education. Our commitment to hiring only the best ensures that our clients receive the highest level of care.

Sam’s Schedule

Sam will be available for appointments on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. Whether you are looking to relieve pain, improve mobility, or enhance your overall health, Sam is here to help.

Direct Billing

We are pleased to offer direct billing for many insurance companies to make your experience as smooth as possible. However, please note that certain companies cover Osteopathic Manual Therapy but do not allow for direct billing. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage options.
