Meet Jenny

We are thrilled to announce that Jenny is joining our team as the first Osteopathic Manual Practitioner at our Canmore Downtown clinic! With a background in Kinesiology and a deep passion for human movement, Jenny brings a unique approach to her practice that focuses on individualized care and patient education.

A Journey Rooted in Curiosity

Growing up in a small mountain town in northern British Columbia, Jenny was immersed in sports and the natural environment, which fueled her passion for movement. This early love of physical activity led her to pursue a degree in Kinesiology, where she became a personal trainer. Throughout her experiences, she developed a strong curiosity about human movement and the varying progress of her clients.

In her quest for a deeper understanding of the body, Jenny discovered Osteopathic Manual Therapy. This discovery prompted her to enroll at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2020. Over four years, she gained profound insights into human movement and the underlying principles that govern it.

A Commitment to Effective Care

Jenny’s practice is driven by her commitment to uncovering the “why” behind her patients’ symptoms. She believes in the importance of understanding the root causes of movement dysfunction and the associated symptoms. To achieve this, Jenny conducts comprehensive full-body assessments. Her treatment approach utilizes gentle, hands-on manipulation to facilitate the body’s self-healing and self-regulating processes, enhancing the optimal function of joints, muscles, organs, and tissues.
