Welcoming Back an Incredible Human: Celebrating Amanda’s Journey

Today, we want to take a moment to honor one of the most amazing individuals we know—Amanda. As an incredible mom and talented acupuncturist, Amanda’s journey has been marked by resilience, strength and a profound commitment to her family and patients.

When Amanda’s daughter was just one year old, she was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. As a mother, facing such a heart-wrenching challenge is unimaginable. Over the past three years, Amanda has navigated this daunting path with grace and determination. Fast forward to now, and the family has once again faced the unimaginable: the cancer returned, prompting yet another round of surgeries and concentrated radiation treatments in Florida.

Through it all, Amanda has been a pillar of strength not just for her daughter, but for her entire family. After taking the last few months off from work to focus on her daughter’s care and recovery, we are incredibly grateful and excited to welcome Amanda back to the Back At It family today.

Amanda is not only an amazing mother; she embodies compassion and commitment in every aspect of her life. Our clinic is fortunate to have her back on our team. The moment we opened up her schedule and announced her return, it was met with overwhelming support—her appointments were fully booked for the next four months in a heartbeat!
