Erika
RMT, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage
Erika graduated from a 2,200 hr program from ICT Northumberland College in Halifax NS and has been living and practicing massage in the Bow Valley since 2013. Since that time she has focused on growing her skill set in both the spa and clinical settings, having worked alongside physiotherapists and sports medicine doctors. Since 2014 she has spent her winters working at a remote heli ski lodge where she has combined her love of massage and the mountains to help both skiers and snowboards get the most out of their muscles.
Style
Erika’s style of massage is a blend of deep tissue, sports and relaxation massage. She believes in effective treatment and will include cupping and k-taping into the treatment dependant on the clients wants and needs.
What do you do when you aren’t massaging?
When out of the treatment room Erika enjoys snowboarding, longboarding, biking, canoeing, camping and music.
What made you decide to become a massage therapist?
Erika became a massage therapist because she loves helping and listening to people. Being an RMT has changed her life in lots of wonderful and exciting ways.
