Jessica completed a 2200 hour massage program at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Calgary. Her previous jobs included base manager at Rockies Heli Canada, construction, painting and landscaping (she is one hard working girl). Jessica moved to the Bow Valley in 1998 seeking bigger mountains and more snow by spending her days on her snowboard. She is an avid split-border and rock climber.
Style of Massage
Deep tissue massage, incorporating movement to her treatments. She also does cupping with movement as well. Jessica is one of Back At It’s deeper tissue massage therapists.
What do you do when you aren’t massaging?
Raising her 4 year old son Noah. Climbing, Snowboarding, Climbing, Climbing some more and then some more Snowboarding, with a bit more Climbing. Her greatest climbing accomplishment was climbing an 11d.
What made you decide to become a massage therapist?
Jessica knows the aches and pains of being an athlete and the benefits of massage. She has had 2 vertebrae fractures and wrist ligament injuries. Massage was an integral part of her recovery. Jessica is small but mighty and is quickly becoming a popular therapist at the clinic especially amongst the francophone community.
